A heinous crime ... a child slaughters his cousin because of a kite!

The oldest child killed his cousin with scissors after a quarrel broke out between them over a kite, and that took place in the Al-Fashn Center in the south of Beni Suef Governorate, Egypt.

The Beni Suef Security Directorate received a notification from Al-Fashn Central Hospital, stating that a 10-year-old boy named Youssef arrived, dead body due to a penetrating wound in the neck..

The mabahith investigation stated that the cause of the crime was the presence of the two children Yusef and his cousin on the roof of their house, playing with a kite, and a dispute arose between them over the ownership of the kite.

Soon the dispute developed into a quarrel, which resulted in the other child stabbing Yusef in the neck with scissors that he had in his possession, so he fell soaked in his blood, to take his last breath before reaching the hospital, and the accused child was kept in custody and a report on the incident was drawn up.

The Al-Fashn Public Prosecution Office decided to assign forensic medicine to perform an autopsy and find out the cause of death, and requested investigations into the incident and its circumstances.
